maz univerze
STAGE: la scierie

Maz Univerze - You put butterflies in my stomach, I think I'm gonna vomit (Vertical Music Video)
Maz Univerze emerged from a conservative small town and it took time for his beautiful, gory poetry to escape the drawer and for the pride flag to unfurl between metal posters. Today, his thoughts erupt in a raw fusion of alternative rap, soaked in emo-rock and metal influences. He mixes skillful rap with distorted screams and melodic hooks; crafting a sound that is as dark as it is hopeful.
When Maz and his two bandmates take the stage, they turn the crowd into a single, powerful marionette limb, a collective beast rising up against social injustice and urging every soul to embrace their shadows as much as their light.

ikan hyu
STAGE: LA Scierie
SUNDAY: 21h00

IKAN HYU - side fx (Official Video)
Ikan Hyu's explosive live shows have sent shockwaves through the European music scene: the way the duo transmits the energy of a 'whole band' with two people is as unique as the sound that emerges: glitchy, loud, beautiful, free, profound and unpredictable.
The two front women each play up to three instruments at the same time - Hannah uses acoustic and electronic drum elements, a kaossilator and a synth bass, while Anisa uses a drum pad and a self-designed electric guitar/keyboard hybrid, which allows her to play guitar and bass at the same time.
All the fishes in the sea, get away cuz here comes she: IKAN HYU.

SEED TO TREE
STAGE: Le Con’Casseur
SUNDAY: 20h00

Seed to Tree - I Wouldn't Mind (Official Video)
We all know them and we all love 'em: our very own indie rockers Seed to Tree traffic in an amalgam of shoegaze, folk, new wave and Bon Iver-tinged indie-pop that we are very happy to have at Koll 26!
Emerging in 2012, the group initially formed as a folk-oriented project around a group of childhood friends, their sense of camaraderie evident in their band name. Seed to Tree began to make waves in 2019 with the release of their well-received sophomore effort Proportions and touring Europe as well as opening shows for bands like Beirut or The Temper Trap. Refusing to rest on the laurels of these achievements, they continue to expand their cinematic brand of indie rock to stunning effect.

Having already played over 150 shows—including major sets at Rock Werchter, Latitude, and Fusion—they have solidified their reputation as one of the most unpredictable and vital young acts in the UK. Let's give them a warm and loud welcome to Martelange!

LE VIBE - Sur la Grand-Route (Official Music Video)
bad luck baby
STAGE: la scierie
SUNDAY: 17h00

BAD LUCK BABY - NEVER HAPPENED WITH YOU
Hailing from Leeuwarden, a province in dutch Friesland, Bad Luck Baby is a five-piece powerhouse, the result of perfectly timed misfortune: vocalist Cath and drummer Ian met after both losing their wallets on a night out, setting the stage for Bad Luck Baby. The band embraces the unpredictable nature of life, the ups and downs translated into powerful, fiery alt-rock. Bad Luck Baby tells stories - about despair, happiness, and the human existence.
Taking cues from bands like Paramore, De Staat, and Wolf Alice, Bad Luck Baby has crafted a sound uniquely their own: tight guitar riffs meet gloomy synths and vocals full of raw emotion. The result is a well-oiled machine, delivering unmatched energy in a (thought-)provoking, resonating performance.

NEWS
DIN - K
Koll an Aktioun is the culmination of a year-long effort organized by over 30 fully active, volunteer Kollibris, spread across 12 working groups.
Officially, we have 11 groups but new ones occasionally emerge in response to fresh ideas and evolving missions.
In 2023, Din K was born out of a new concept: “Casa Di Kollibri” a gastronomical experience designed to stage social interaction through the simple joys of life:
Pizza, Vino & Amore (or Pizza, Party & Amore depending on the mood!).

That same year, we began collaborating with “D’Kollektiv”, an association based at the VEWA in Dudelange. We needed plates to serve our homemade pizza alongside fine wine (or grape juice). The plates? Crafted from recycled wood collected over 15 years ago and lovingly reactivated together with members of D’Kollektiv in their atelier.
At the same time, we were forced to vacate our storage barn which held all our festival gear: materials, decorations, boxes, and countless mysterious objects. Ferroforum asbl came to our rescue, offering temporary space in their atelier at Metzeschmelz in Esch-sur-Alzette. But we knew this couldn’t be a long-term solution. We needed a plan.

Inspired by the industrial aesthetic of the space, we conceived a new system: everything must fit on Euro-pallets. a global standard that revolutionized how we consume, transport, and manage logistics. This would allow us to plan and execute multiple relocations quickly, until we find a permanent storage solution.
Din K was born and since 2024, we’ve met regularly at VEWA, using D’Kollektiv’s atelier and machinery to co-create eco-responsible, handmade decorations and scenography for Koll an Aktioun.
Our motto?
Hands on! Be together, have fun, and let your creativity flow!

Koll-ca
On paper, a CA (Conseil d’administration) might just be the most unglamorous, boring and bureaucratic thing ever. Not with the Kollibris! Our association, Kollibri asbl, is somewhat the house in which Koll An Aktioun makes up one room. The idea is that the other rooms are filled with further activities, ideas, groups and gatherings that all reflect the core values that connect us all.

the CA is the cozy living room in which we meet +/- once a month in order to discuss what’s going on at the festival, what needs to be done, to update each AG (working group) with each other, drink a beer or two together and discuss what’s important to us and in how far the association and the festival reflect this.
Yes, we might sometimes get carried away in our discussions and the evenings might end later than anticipated, but: every single time every single one of us leaves the CA with new input, ideas and views. And that’s what this should be about: to challenge ourselves. But in a fun way!

VISOUNSWEEKND

Ronderëm den Uewen is a pretty simple idea - however it seems almost revolutionary. It translates to around the fireplace/stove. And that’s what we do: we meet in our very own stock where we actually put up an ancient stove that not only warms us but also a soup or mulled wine - depending on your needs.
We’d love for people to gather just to spend time together, to get creative together and to talk. About views they share and about opinions that might differ.
To create a space to allow exchange as well as constructive criticism and where different opinions can be shared and discussed. An important value that seems to be less and less common. But you’ll find it at Ronderëm den Uewen! So keep your eyes peeled for any upcoming editions. Sometimes it might also just be dancing around the stove.
